Sam began swimming for Dunmoor when he was 4 and has been swimming ever since. He swam at Dynamo for 9 years, and his favorite stroke is freestyle. At Dynamo, Sam qualified for state and sectional level meets each year and won state both individually and on relays. He was captain of his high school team last year, and he was also named the Most Valuable Swimmer and an All-American.
He is the third Swanson to coach for Dunmoor, following behind Coach Cory and Coach Meggie. He just graduated from Chattahoochee High School and is going to Georgia Tech for college this fall. Sam coached last year at Park Bridge, but he is very excited to be back with Dunmoor this year.
